Our 6-Week Wellness Activation Program is designed to help you LEVEL UP your approach to accountability, nutrition, fitness, mindfulness, recovery, and community. Each of our “Pillar Coaches” will guide you through in-depth workshops, workouts, community sessions, and one-on-one experiences to leave you feeling more equipped to tackle your own holistic care.
As we countdown the days to LEVEL UP: THE PROGRAM, we wanted to (re)introduce you to each Pillar Coach in their own words.
ASHLEY BASIRI – ACCOUNTABILITY
I am a STRENGTH and R/DE Instructor, the Director of Instructor Operations, Head of LEVEL UP, and Lead Accountability Coach here at B/SPOKE. I’m also a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, an Eating Disorder Recovery Coach, and I’m currently pursuing my National Board Certification through the NBHWC. I’ve been teaching group fitness for over 9 years and coaching for 4 — I LOVE IT more than anything!
I CAN’T WAIT to kick-off LEVEL UP: THE PROGRAM with this incredible B/SPOKE Community once again. My goal? To help YOU build up your OWN inner coach so you can master the skills you’ll learn over these next six weeks and apply them to ALL areas of your life — during this program and beyond. From goal analyzing (IS this the goal you REALLY want? If so, why?) to goal-setting (WHAT action steps can you put in place now to create forward progress?), your Accountability Coach (and I!) will be there every step of the way. This journey is going to be one to remember. I hope you’re ready to step into your power and SHINE BRIGHT!
ERIN MURRAY – NUTRITION
I’m so excited to be coaching the nutrition pillar of LEVEL UP again this spring! My background is in nutrition research and dietetics as well as health and nutrition coaching in my private practice. One of my favorite things about LEVEL UP is that it takes a whole-health approach by focusing on movement, nutrition, recovery, and community.
I’m passionate not just about the science of nutrition (which I love with my whole heart), but I’m also passionate about making the science meaningful. Which often means translating the evidence into real-life action steps that enrich our wellbeing, not stress us further. This is a focus of my work in my practice, and also in every course or workshop that I have the honor of teaching. Because of that, we will work to enjoy and understand our nourishment on a far deeper level here in LEVEL UP. And I love that our whole community in this program works to support that. I can’t wait to see you!
KATIE BARRETT BROWN (KTB) – FITNESS
I’m the Head of STRENGTH + PERSONAL TRAINING at B/SPOKE and have been working in the fitness industry for over 10 years. I have my BS in Health Science from Northeastern University and since then have become a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM CPT). I’m also a former D1 Track + Field runner and current Marathon Runner.
Finding group fitness helped me come out of a long stretch of being unhappy with my body and disordered eating and inspired me to take control of my life again. I became an instructor and trainer with the hope of helping others find their internal strength and courage and to feel empowered and strong in everything that they do.
I believe fitness is more than just the physical and that fitness can help give us the mental toughness to push through all of life’s challenges. Fitness can be a catalyst for positive change. One small change, like adding a workout into your morning routine, can completely change the direction of your day. You start to make other good choices as a result.
ALY RAYMER – MINDFULNESS + RECOVERY
I am the Director of Programming, R/DE + YOGA instructor for over 16 years, and founder of holistic international wellness retreats, What Lies Within.
Dubbed the “Self Care Queen” because to me recovery is vital to living a healthy, long and happy life. I am excited to be apart of the LEVEL UP coach team to teach the community tips, tricks and tools that will help them create a recovery and mindfulness practice beyond the physical body. Through breath work, meditation and the practice of yoga, we will learn how all three tie together to cultivate a sense of self awareness that will allow them to set better goals, know when to push and know when to take time to slow down.
ROBYN MURPHY – RECOVERY
I am Studio Lead, Accountability Coach, and will soon be launching a new ASSISTED STRETCHING program at B/SPOKE.
As a Certified Athletic Trainer, I have practiced athletic training in the collegiate setting as well in boutique fitness. Certified Athletic Trainers are healthcare professionals educated and trained to provide prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions. I’m passionate about injury prevention especially through addressing muscle tightness and biomechanical movement patterns.
I am excited to be a part of this six week wellness activation program to share my unique skill set and provide the B/SPOKE Community with accessible methods of leveling up their recovery. The RECOVERY PILLAR will include sessions on mobility, stretching, myofascial release, muscle activation, and injury prevention that aim to provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to perform and feel your best.
