Tell us about your fitness journey.

I grew up on the soccer field and played through high school and into college. I was fortunate to be named Captain and an All-American in college and soccer was such a huge part of my identity. I just loved being a part of a team: the camaraderie, winning as a team, losing as a team. I feel like so many of the most important life lessons I have learned, I learned playing soccer. But when I graduated, I felt lost. I stumbled upon spin in the basement of a gym on Boylston Street and it filled that void in my life. The rest is history. Nowadays, I have to prioritize my workouts a little bit differently and I’m ok with not working out every day. It just makes the days I am in the studio and leading a class that much more special! I feel very grateful to have found the B/SPOKE team and the amazing community that surrounds it.

Tell us about your full time job at Puma!

I oversee Digital Marketing at PUMA on the Global Marketing team – which includes social media, paid digital media, and influencer marketing. I work closely with our North America and European teams to implement our strategies and bring to life our awesome marketing campaigns! PUMA is such a great company. It’s taken me all over the world including many trips to HQ in Germany. I’ve also been fortunate to be a part of the Rihanna x PUMA Fashion Week launches, our PUMA Basketball launch in the US, and various sneaker drops across the globe.

How do you like to fuel your body pre and post workout?

Being a mom of two, it’s hard to perfectly plan your meals-I sometimes eat on the go! But my #1 and #2 life staples are peanut butter (Skippy’s Natural Honey Nut to be specific) and avocado (not together, ha).  Peanut butter on toast, a bagel, a banana, or even just a couple spoonfuls before class. And avocado any which way after. I eat it every day!

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

Mom: It’s a verb, haha! I usually am woken up by Ben or Jack, often earlier than I would like. So it’s go-time right away.

Marketing Boss, R/DE Instructor, AND Mom…WOW! Any tips on time management?

Calendars!! My husband and I share our iCal and everything goes in there. It helps keep us organized. But besides that, I’ve had to do a lot of prioritizing and learning to be flexible – HARD – but you never know when one of the boys is going to be sick or a work trip is sprung on you! I am beyond grateful for my husband who embodies the word partner – I could not do any of it without him.

What is your favorite thing that a client has ever said to you?

That class made their day. I’m hopeful that my riders walk out of class feeling better than when they walked in.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

“Be on time. Do what’s right. Family first.” My soccer coach in college would tell us this every day. Words. To. Live. By.

What’s the one thing about you that surprises people?

I’ve seen every episode (20 seasons) of Law & Order: SVU.

What’s your go-to song to play in your classes at the moment?

It’s All On U (T-Mass & LZRD Remix) by Illenium
